Slave Republic

After Cheap Adidas Shoes the release of their debut “Electric One” in March 2010, a tour with DE/Vision, shows with diorama, Assemblage 23, SONO and a number of festival appearances (for instance at the Moscow Synthetic Snow Festival and at the Wave Gothic Treffen in Leipzig), the alternative synth pop heroes finally present a spectacular follow-up.

The second album sounds darker, more resonant and mature than their debut. Co-operations were pursued with more determination, and together with producer Daniel Myer (haujobb, Architect, DSTR), the songs were lined out with great care for detail and perfection.

EBM pioneers Absolute Body Control didn’t hesitate to contribute a remix for the album. And what would serve as a better hint towards the upcoming tour with label mates diorama, than joining forces for a song? “Primärreiz”, a sure-fire dance floor blast, comes with guest vocals by diorama mastermind Torben Wendt, adding even more power and suspense to the song and the whole album.

Things are looking more than great for Slave Republic.
Without doubt, “Quest of Love” will find open ears … and Slave Republic many new fans.
